Cristina Ruiz, a graduate in public relations, was born in Mexico City, Mexico. From very small tilts his life to the arts, and excels in some of these. At age 12 he took his first steps into the realm of poetry by taking part in several competitions, including winning a few.

Cristina Ruiz, a graduate in public relations, was born in Mexico City, Mexico. From very small tilts his life to the arts, and excels in some of these. At age 12 he took his first steps into the realm of poetry by taking part in several competitions, including winning a few.

In 1984 decided to reside in France where he ventures into the world of stained glass and manages to produce a relevant work as part of a team of renowned stained glass, with those involved in reconstruction and design of stained glass windows in churches and chapels in the old continent. And in this beautiful place where he discovered his passion for painting.

In 1986 to return to Mexico, began his studies in this discipline in the workshop of the INBA Guadalupe Trueba (1986-1993). From the beginning shows an inclination towards the figurative school Impressionist Valenciana, which performs a series of oil paintings, worked with a soft and beautiful palette, reflecting the warmth and inner peace.

In 1994 he took a course design in Kyoto, Japan.

In 1995, he decided to continue your search and choose to lie in the cradle of art, Florence, which penetrates deeper into the techniques of acrylic and gold leaf.

Upon returning to Mexico continues in workshops with great masters of the likes of Laurel Herlinda Sanchez, who discovers his ease and expertise to the abstract. In his quest continues to improve his drawing and painting with renowned masters such as Arturo Rivera, Arturo Buitrón, Manuel Arrieta, Rob Erdle, and Robert Cenedella among others.

Also some years Cristina Ruiz has begun to dabble in the art of sculpture and engraved under the supervision of renowned teachers, doing great works.

In December 2003, Cristina Ruiz, who is also known as "The Painter of Love", published his book "Canto al Amor" ... when love touches the soul sings, a book of poetry where we can see from an artistic point of mastery, what love means to her.

In July 2005, presented his art book "Cristina Ruiz, the painter of love", where we show a part of his career in figurative and abstract painting, sculpture and poetry.

In October 2005, received the "Award of Excellence Universal for its commendable career as a painter, sculptor and poet.

In 2006 and 2007 received the Award "Laurel de Oro" for his long career as a painter, as well as the award "Woman Woman" for his great career as a sculptor. Also in 2008 earned him the prize "Perez Belfer Art Atelier in Uruguay and an honorable mention Esart Gallery of Barcelona for the excellent quality of their work.

His work is now on permanent display at some major museums in Mexico and the United States.

All this history makes it a very versatile artist and complete. Throughout his work we find a very particular light, romance, ease, an extraordinary drawing management and a beautiful palette.

To date he has participated in 33 individual and 42 collective exhibitions in Mexico City, Central and South America, U.S. cities like Miami, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and New York and also in some cities in Europe, highlighting among others, Madrid and Paris and now in Tokyo Japan.
